Katina Zentz is an award-winning visual journalist currently working at The Frederick News-Post in Frederick, Maryland. Prior to moving to Maryland, Katina interned with publications such as USA Today, Des Moines Register, and the Telegraph Herald.

In 2018, Katina joined the staff at The Daily Iowan, the newspaper for the University of Iowa. During her time there, Katina worked as a staff photographer, the photo editor, and finally the creative director of the visuals department. She later graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in Journalism and Art, with honors through art.

Katina has earned many national and statewide honors for her work.
